About the Role
Marketing Coordinators will be supporting the Marketing Director in brand development, social media management, content creation, and graphic design at a thriving NGO. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work to promote the activities of BIA initiatives and market the organization’s overall vision.
Requirements
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Knowledge of social media creation tools such as Canva, Photoshop and more
Knowledge of social media platforms including and not limited to Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter and more
Website and/or Graphic design experience is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication
General knowledge of non-profits
Passionate about Black community engagement and social justice
Access to a laptop and basic understanding of Zoom, Google and Slack
Responsibilities
Support the Marketing Director in planning and execution of BIAs social media campaigns and other communications projects
Manage and redesign components of the BIAs website
Assist with idea generation, content creation, and copywriting for promotional materials such as Facebook and Instagram posts, LinkedIn articles, and newsletters
Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and respond to inquiries as needed
