About the Role

Administrative Coordinators are responsible for supporting the Executive Administrative Officer in administrative tasks including but not limited to note-taking, agenda preparation, email preparation etc.

Requirements

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Strong knowledge in mailchimp, or other mailing list servers.

  • General knowledge of non-profits

  • Passionate about Black community engagement and social justice 

  • Access to a laptop and basic understanding of Zoom, Google and Slack


Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Executive Administrative Officer in preparing

  • Creating and sending monthly emails to our mailing list.

  • Ensure that BIA general emails are shared with the Executive Team and responded to in a timely manner.

  • Tracking all Coordinator Hours.
