Abisola Adegbulugbe

Programming Coordinator

Abisola Adegbulugbe is a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Absiola's passion for community engagement was spurred by her involvement with the residence life program at UBC. During her time as a residence advisor, she collaborated with colleagues and community partners to develop programs and initiatives to foster a wider sense of belonging across the university campus. As a Program Coordinator with the Black Inclusion Association, she aspires to create opportunities for young Black people to acquire new skills, confront challenges, and celebrate their cultures. Abisola is currently a research assistant with the Oncology Outcomes research group at the University of Calgary. In her free time, she enjoys baking, writing poetry and attending ballet class. Abisola is from Nigeria and Canada.
